General responsibilities include coordination of clinical experiences and teaching courses along with curriculum and
program development.
Education: Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited college or university. Candidate must hold a national
certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner, Psych/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
Doctorate in nursing or related field preferred. Additionally, candidate must hold a current unrestricted license as a
registered nurse in North Carolina (or ability to obtain licensure) and have eligibility to obtain North Carolina Nurse
Practitioner certification.
Experience: Minimum of two calendar years prior full-time employment or equivalent in a clinical nursing practice as a
registered nurse is required.
Scholarly Production: Demonstrated scholarly activity, including research, publications and consulting in nursing or a
