We
are seeking a part-time or full time certified Family Nurse
Practitioner or Physician Assistant for one of our Clinics located at
Desoto, TX (Dallas Metropolis). The clinic operates Monday-Friday. No
weekends. The nurse practitioner or Physician Assistant uses
clinical
judgments in conducting health assessments making differential
diagnosis, and prescribing pharmacological and non-pharmacological
treatments. Interested candidate will work with physician and
other
NPs in a clinic setting.
Some
responsibilities will include:

Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures within
prescribed guidelines and instructions of Physician
•
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and
assess patients' clinical problems and health care needs
•
Collaborates with Physician and other health professionals to prepare
comprehensive patient care plan as necessary

We
are seeking a FNP, ANP, or ACNP to join a well respected Federally
Qualified Health Center to work in a Family Practice / Internal
Medicine Practice setting. The Provider would be working
8:30am-5:00pm
Mon-Fri with no on call responsibility. The NP would see an
estimated
patient volume of 20 patients per day in the clinic with a good support
staff, EMR and a collaborating physician on-site that enjoys training
and mentoring new/ recent graduates. The patient population
consists
of insured, uninsured and low income and the provider would see a
diverse cross section of patients that present with both acute and
chronic conditions. Medical Spanish is a plus but
not required for
the position. The base salary is from $85,000-$120,000+
(Depending
Upon Experience) with a comprehensive benefits package including
Medical, Dental, 401K, Malpractice Coverage, CME and CME
Allowance.
The location does qualify for NHSC loan repayment which would provide
$30,000 paid to your student loans per annum. There would be
a minimum
of a two year commitment required for loan repayment eligibility for
2013 funding.
