NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK Bilingual Nurse Practitioner needed to join NYC's largest harm reduction/syringe exchange program. Their mission is HIV prevention and comprehensive services for those at risk for, or infected with HIV. Serving 20,000 people each year in the Bronx and East Harlem using clinics and a unique street side service delivery model. Tents are set up where risk behaviors take place and services are delivered right on the streets. The NP will have day-to-day responsibility for program supervision including oversight of program deliverables, supervision to all staff, coordination with the AIDS Institute and Quality Assurance. NP will implement counseling sessions to Spanish speaking substance users and their sexual partners, provide medical assessments, expanded syringe access activities, treatment for diagnosed STIs and overdose prevention.
