The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability or promise for
a record of positive achievement in teaching, service, or scholarship
within the discipline of nursing. Teaching in the undergraduate and
graduate programs, advising students, professional service,

university and pursuing and maintaining a research/scholarship agenda
are also requirements of the position. The successful candidate may
be called upon to travel to clinical sites, teach day and evening
classes, and participate in and develop web enhanced, hybrid, and/or
web based instruction. Specific assignments are dependent upon
department needs.

seeks to add a fulltime Nurse Practitionr or Physician Assistant to compliment
our existing two Physician Assistants. This position is a combination
of hospital, surgical, and clinic hours. In collaboration with the
physicians, the Physician Assistant is responsible for providing varied
medical services, including: obtaining complete medical history and performing
a physical examination; ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and
imaging studies; formulating a diagnosis and treatment plan; prescribing
and/or dispensing medication; assisting in surgery; counseling patients
and families. ER call is available but not mandatory and is compensated
over base salary.
Position Qualifications:
A Bachelors degree and Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner
/ Physician Assistant program are required. The employee must have or obtain
a current Arizona license and current certification. Strong
surgical skills are a plus
