are seeking a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner for a
fast retail clinic in eastern Iowa. Facilities are in excellent
condition. Will consider experienced providers only. Schedule will be

a well respected critical access facility in Southern Colorado!

The clinic
is looking to hire an FNP/CNM who will provide family practice and
obstetrics healthcare services in collaboration with hospital staff
physicians and midlevel providers; the provider will make rounds on
assigned inpatients and provide primary care services in the medical
clinic. The provider is permitted wide latitude for the exercise of
independent clinical judgment subject to the Medical Staff Bylaws.
The
ideal candidate must be licensed in the state of Colorado as a Family
Nurse Practitioner and a Certified Nurse Midwife The call for this
position is 1:7 for hospital admission and deliveries only; no ER call.
The schedule will rotate with the other providers. A normal schedule is
four 10 hour days per week. Some evenings and Saturdays are also
included in the schedule. The work and call schedules are both very
flexible.
The primary care clinic provides general medical and
surgical care for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room patients,
and participates in the Medicare and Medicaid programs. The clinic
continues to grow and is expecting to provide 26,000 patient encounters
this year. The hospital is a 25 bed critical access hospital offering
private patient rooms. Services include cardio-pulmonary, ER, home
health, imaging, laboratory, rehab, surgery, rehab, and a birthing
center. The hospital averages 135 deliveries per year. The hospital
contracts ER physician coverage, staff physicians serve on call to
accept patients from the ER for hospital admission.
The Health Professional Shortage Area Score (HPSA) for this site is 12
per HRSA.

Rehabilitation In-Patient Nursing Centers three times per week
(flexible) seeing 25+ geriatric and adult patients (no time

Certification, and ability to work independently is very important.
Supervising Physician will be accessible by phone and rounds are
expected to be performed independently. Rounds will consist of mostly
