candidate must have EVH/Endoscopic vessel harvesting
experience. 4 years’ experience in EVH is ideal.
Compensation:
•
$130-155,000/year in salary depending on EVH
experience. Plus an
option for additional productivity bonuses! Plus an additional $60/hr

5 days for CME’s and 2,000. Malpractice covered.

invasive, endoscopic vein and radial harvesting, chest tube insertion,
and thoracentesis.

Patients are ages 18 and up. Call is 1:3,
additional $60/hr for
coming on site when on call, plus hourly pay for being on
call. Week
day call is 5p-7a. Weekend call is 8p Friday to 7a
Monday. Surgery
starts early and surgeon does roughly 2 surgeries per day. NP

can leave when finished, no real set scheduled/hours.

for
daily rounding on patients pre and post-operatively as well conducting

Nurse Practitioner and a Part Time provider for evenings and

practice provider. This
unique opportunity includes both Neurosurgical and Pain Management
Specialties.
Duties
include but are not limited
to: Outpatient Evaluation and Treatment, Inpatient Consultation,
Rounding on pre/post-operative patients, First Assist in the Surgical
setting both inpatient and outpatient cases and shared call. The
Provider will also be required to perform minor procedures in the
office setting.

developing and managing the quality of advanced practice clinical
services/programs in the Department of Emergency Medicine.

Assists the Medical Director or their designee and the UCH/UPI SOM
Director of Advanced Practice in facilitating the development, support
and management of the NP/PA group within specific service lines. This
includes all activities related to direct and facilitated patient care;

early patient discharge, patient and staff education, hospital task
forces, and patient satisfaction.
2.
Actively participates in local/regional Nurse Practitioner/Physician
Assistant associations with goal of developing clinical and leadership
skills, promoting a unit base/departmental model, and developing a
network of Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for future
career opportunities.
3.
Seeks out national leadership roles on professional journal editorial
boards, professional organizations and/or elected positions.
4.
Identifies problems/barriers with NP/PA models of health care delivery
and develops solutions in collaboration with other stakeholders.
Provides clinical expertise for the group.
5.
Develops and strengthens relationships with various stakeholders
including other clinical Lead APP’s, medical team attending physicians,
primary care physicians, network providers, key decision makers, and
site functional team members.

Master of Science Degree, Registered and currently licensed

Certified as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State
of Colorado. Meets all requirements of medical staff credentialing

Previous
