Health Clinic – Family Nurse Practitioner – Greater, Tyler, Texas
We
are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to work in a Rural Health
Clinic affiliated with a well respected hospital system in East, Texas.
The Provider would work in a family practice setting but would also see
urgent care patients with minor injuries including simple lacerations,
sprains, etc. The Providers practice autonomously with a physician that
provides oversight but is not present in the clinic. The FNP would also
see occupational medicine patients and conduct DOT physicals for the
various businesses, workers comp (once certified), and patients with
acute and chronic illness. This clinic does not prescribe nor refill
any narcotics. The clinic hours of operation are 8:00am- 8:00pm
Monday
through Friday and 8:00am-4:00pm Saturday with an hour for lunch.
Currently the volume is averaging 35 patients per day. The salary
is
negotiable but the range is $104,000-$110,000 annually with
incentives. The Provider would also receive a comprehensive
benefits
plan including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, CME and CME allowance and

are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to work in a clinical and
administrative role directing of clinical staff in all behavior health
programs for a well respected hospital in East, Texas. The areas
of
supervision would include: adult, geriatric, substance abuse, the
crisis observation unit (COU) and the adult intensive outpatient
program (IOP). This clinical leader would have oversight for
social
service, marketing and case management within behavioral health service
framework. The Provider would also work closely with the program
director, the program development director and the physician medical
director, on a daily basis. A master’s prepared RN would be responsible
for the day-to-day operations of the patient care areas and the leading
and directing the clinical staff to quality patient and family centered
care. The APN would function administratively 70% of the time with 30%
availability for APN duties, as needed. This dual role would need
to
function at multiple levels with impeccable management skills and have
the ability to actively participate in the growth of new programs for
the expansion of behavioral health services. The compensation
package
would be $110,000-$130,000 with a full benefits package including
