About the position:

Description: Well-established Orthopaedic Group seeks to add
their first full-time NP to their team. The position will be
three to four days in the Clinic and the balance in the OR. The
group handles a split between spine and general orthopaedic cases with
a strong volume on knee and shoulder scopes. Responsibilities
include: providing first assist, evaluating orthopaedic injuries,
eventually running a clinic, reductions, patient evaluation and
education, pre and post-H&P’s, injections, consultation and

focused on treating athletes with various muscular skeletal problems

Overseen by an on-site physician at the hospital. Call will be 1:3 –
1:4. Candidate would be employed by the hospital and assigned to work

Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner. As part of the orthopedic team,
the
Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive
diagnosis, non-surgical and surgical management of musculoskeletal
diseases and injuries. Typical surgeries performed by the
Orthopaedist
include total hip and knee replacements, arthroscopic procedures of the
knee (ACL tear/repair, meniscus), and rotator cuff repair. The
Physician Assistant will spend approximately 50% of his/her time in

We
are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work
in a family practice clinic with ER coverage responsibilities with a
well respected hospital. The Provider would work 3 days in the
clinic
(8 hours per day) and one day per week in the ER (8 hours) the
remaining day is used for charting and administrative purposes.
The
physician would work with two Physicians and one Physician Assistant in
the Clinic as well as having a CMA assigned to assist him/her as
well.
The patient volume in the clinic would be approximately 17-18 patients
per day ranging from older pediatric patients to geriatrics and the
provider would manage both acute and chronic conditions.
Additionally,
while working in the ER, the Provider would be the first responder and
there are times when a physician may not be present so the APN or PA
should be very comfortable working autonomously in that setting.
The
ER has three bays and one procedure room. There is little volume,
but
it is a “true” ER setting and previous experience in Emergency Medicine
either as an RN or EMT is required. Competitive compensation
ranging
