We are seeking a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner for a rural health clinic in northern Michigan. 4 other providers on site. Will consider a new graduate but prefer an experienced provider. Schedule will be M-F, 8a – 5p but could work longer days (4-10's). May have other schedule flexibility as well. Anticipated patient volume will be 20-25/day. Can expect about ½ of those to be walk-in. This is a large clinic with 27 treatment rooms. Compensation will be $77-104k. Would consider additional incentives for an experienced provider ($5-10k est.) – which should put the package over $100k for someone seasoned. Comprehensive benefit package including 6.5 wks vacation, malpractice, health insurance (BCBS), retirement, and 1 wk paid CME. Relocation assistance. Additionally: This position offers Federal Loan Repayment Assistance with a high HPSA score (requires 2 year commitment). The cash value of this benefit is $50k (requires 2 year commitment). These are pretax dollars so the real value (in taxable dollars and interest) is $65k+. In essence you are working for 2 years and almost getting paid for 3!!!
