experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our clinical staff and managing
all aspects of the Neuroscience Program at Saint Francis Hospital and
Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut. As the Stroke
Program
Coordinator, you will be able to provide excellent clinical care for
general neurology and stroke patients and to manage the administrative
responsibilities key to maintaining the high-end care provided to our
patients.
In this role, you can enjoy caring for patients
while you oversee the management of care for neurology and stroke
patients, conduct daily rounds, interpret diagnostic and lab
information. Additionally, you can feature your management
skills as
the coordinator overseeing quality initiatives, furthering development
of the Neuroscience Program, assisting with Joint Commission
Certification, and supervising a group of highly trained clinical
staff.
The successful candidate will have an M.S. degree in
Nursing, Connecticut RN and APRN licenses and BLS and ACLS
Certification. This candidate should demonstrate strong
interpersonal,
organizational and time management skills, critical thinking and
effective clinical aptitudes, as well as a proven ability to manage

Position Description
Cardiovascular
Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania seeks
candidates for the position of NP/PA. The candidate will direct
management of patients on the Cardiovascular Surgery Service under the
supervision of the attending cardiac surgeons. Duty hours will include
weekday nights and weekend days and nights for the cardiovascular
surgery service. These will be immediate postoperative cardiovascular
surgery ICU patients.
Minimum Requirements
Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in PA,MSN,CRNP in
Adult or Acute Care
Or
A
graduate of a Physician Assistant's Program approved by the American
Medical Association, hold a valid Physician Assistant's License in the
State of Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey, and have current certification
from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
(NCCPA.)
Eligible for credentialing by the entity medical board. Prefers
candidates with a strong Cardiology background.
Additional Information
This position is FT for Nights and Weekends Only.
4 x 12hr shifts
The
population consists of pre-and postoperative open heart surgical
patients including but not limited to those undergoing Coronary Artery
Bypass Graft, Aortic Valve Replacement, Mitral Valve Replacement, and
Thoracoabdominal aneursym Repair.
In addition, those patients
who receive heart and/or lung transplantation are cared for
postoperatively. Primary nurses work with Nurse Practitioners or
Physician Assistants and an interdisciplinary team to meet physical,
emotional, educational, and discharge planning needs of the patient and
families to promote an optimal level of wellness.

are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work
in an Urgent Care / Walk-in Care Center in greater Ft. Smith,
Arkansas. Clinic hours are Mon-Fri 9:00am-5:00pm
with no weekends or
call responsibility. The Provider would see an estimated
volume of 20
patients per day in the clinic with good staff support. The
