Health position in NW Washington close to Seattle. Will consider

to work in the ER of a small critical access hospital in Eastern

Director would prefer an experienced Surgical Nurse Practitioner, but

Practitioner’s primary role
is to function in the clinic managing new and existing patients as well

non-surgical,

The
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will be assigned to work at either the
Community Outpatient Clinics in the seacoast area (Portsmouth and
Somersworth) VA Medical Center in Manchester or may be assigned to
both. The final determination would be made at time of hire and will be
dependent upon overall staffing needs. S/he will accountable for the
delivery of the highest quality, age-specific (including adult,
middle-aged and geriatric) comprehensive mental health care services

S/he works collaboratively with many disciplines to provide care,

vocational nurses, social workers, clerical and administrative staff,

continuity role. S/he will independently manage a caseload of mental
health patients transitioning from inpatient to outpatient treatments
settings, including ongoing evaluation of diagnosis, psychological
functioning , substance abuse, and psychosocial will being; and
treatment, including prescribing psychiatric medications and providing
psychotherapy.
