Merry Christmas!NPworld.us was born of Karen Fields' (MSPAS, PA-C http://kefields-pa.com) desire for team building and supporting her NP friends and colleagues. Bill (Karen's Dad) began searching the internet for PA/NP jobs. All free for NPs/PAs and employers and recruiters, thus creating the demand for another advocate for Advanced Practice Clinician's medical excellence in a larger medical arena plus adding another voice, by supporting PAs & NPs in the media, government, education and in medicine. PA posters were among our first efforts, followed by Karen's inclusion of NP Posters supported by news releases, and direct communications with national and local Television and Radio, Federal, State and Local governments. I'm told NP/PA Posters, in the tens of thousands, have been downloaded and hung in schools, chapters, Hospitals, Clinics, government offices, world wide. Bill recognized this was now a full time effort (just finding jobs takes 3 hours each morning) and hoped employers and recruiters would help support PAs / NPs and PAworld.net NPworld.us emailing their jobs to thousands of PAs & NPs (currently about 24,000+) while keeping all services free. Even now, bill in the spirit of service to NPs & PAs, continues PAworld.net and NPworl.us posting significanly far more free jobs than paid, increasing PAworld.net and NPworld.us service to PAs & NPs and advocacy for all Advanced Practitce Clinicians to the point this year will surpass 37,500,000+ hits on their pages. John D. Warner Hospital is a Critical Access Hospital located in Clinton, Illinois. CAH status allows the hospital to receive better reimbursement for Medicare patients, assuring its financial stability. The hospital operates 25 beds. John D. Warner serves over 1,000 inpatients, 25,000 outpatients, and performs over 500 surgeries per year. The ER services approximately 7,200 patients per year. The ER is designated level 3 and is staffed 24 hours a day. John D. Warner is a fully equipped hospital providing services which include MRI, Spiral CT, EKG, stress testing, X-Ray, mammograms, ultrasounds, respiratory and pulmonary function testing; physical, speech, and occupational therapy; cardiology testing, and many community support services.
