Job Requirements:
Master's
in Nursing required and a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner
Program. Current licensure in the following disciplines required:
registered nurse, adult, acute care or family nurse practitioner, and
prescriptive authority. Recent Palliative Care experience desired but
will consider candidates/ new grads with strong geriatric, oncology or
pain management experience.
Job Description:
The
palliative care nurse practitioner is a member of an interdisciplinary
consult team that provides direct care to patients admitted to the
acute care setting with chronic life limiting diseases. You will
perform comprehensive health assessments to establish goals of care and
promote quality of life for patients and families by addressing the
physical, psychological and spiritual burden of their disease.
Responsibilities of this position include obtaining health histories,
performing medical examinations, diagnostic evaluations and
pharmacologic interventions related to symptom management. Work in an

are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistance for a well
respected Oncology Group. The Provider would work in a fast paced
clinic that will test your abilities while offering a great learning
environment. The Provider would work in an outpatient clinic setting
with hours of 8:30am-5:00pm Mon-Fri. 1:6 day call to cover the Infusion
Center where a Provider will stay until 6:30pm. The NP /PA would
perform physical exams of clinic patients with normal and abnormal
findings, maintain health history and progress notes, provide
procedures as needed, provide drug therapies as needed, provide patient
education and self care and work collaboratively with physicians to
provide the most appropriate care possible. Competitive base salary of
$95,000-$100,000+ (Depending Upon Experience), Incentive bonuses,
