The
University Hospital, the Teaching Hospital for the UMDNJ-New Jersey
Medical School and the UMDNJ, is currently seeking a Physician
Assistant or Nurse Practitioner as the Assistant Manager to be
responsible for the direct supervision of the hospital-based
orthopaedic practice (clinic). This will include being responsible for
clinical care, for maintaining an analysis of clinical outcomes,
meeting goals and objectives of the unit; assessing the performance of
clinical staff and of key clinical processes and for customer
satisfaction.
Qualified
candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant Studies
or a related field, be a graduate of an accredited Physician
Assistant
Program and have at least two years of experience as a Physician
Assistant in an outpatient setting. In lieu of the above, you may be
certified as either a Clinical Nurse Specialist or a Nurse Practitioner
and have at least two years of experience as an advanced practice nurse
required in an orthopaedic setting. Bilingual skills preferred.
