Responsibilities
The candidate will work
side-by-side with an experienced Physician Assistant and supervised by
the Physician. The job responsibilities include pre-endoscopy screening
and post-endoscopy recovery and discharge; evaluating and managing
patients; reading reports; and be on call for the office on a rotating
basis. The calls average 3 or less a week. There is no hospital work
and no GI or Hepatology experience required.

Coastal
Maine - Family Practice/ Urgent Care
We
are seeking a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner for a
Urgent Care position in an remote coastal location in Maine.
Will
consider an experienced provider only. No new graduates. Autonomous
Practice. Schedule will be 8a - 5p, M-F (40 hr. week). 2 wks
on and 1
wk off!!!. Call will be 1 in 3 weekends. Anticipated patient volume
will be 15 - 20 ppd. This clinic is in a semi-remote location. You will
need to be able to stabilize and ship trauma cases for the few times a
year they occur. Social services, physical therapy and dental services
also at clinic. X-ray. Salary will be $90-110k+ with a comprehensive
benefit package including 17 wks vacation!, malpractice, health
insurance (no cost to provider), retirement and paid CME. Relocation
assistance and separate sign-on bonus. Additionally: This position
offers guaranteed Federal Loan Repayment Assistance with a high HPSA
score (requires 2 year commitment). The cash value of this benefit is
$40k due to this being less than a full time position. These are
non-taxable dollars so the real value (in taxable dollars and interest
saved) is $80k+. In essence you are working for 2 years and getting
paid for 3!!! Maine is noted for its natural scenic beauty and great
