DNP STUDY #1

Dear Colleague,

I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner pursuing a Doctorate of Nursing
Practice
(DNP) at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in
Provo, Utah. I am currently conducting an investigation to complete my
clinical capstone project. I invite you to participate in my investigation
to describe the level of provider attitudes and knowledge regarding the
use of psychiatric service dogs for psychiatrically-disabled patients before
and after an online educational intervention.

Your participation in this investigation will involve completing an
online pre-test survey (approximately 15 minutes) and then proceeding through
the online educational program (approximately 30 minutes), after which
you will be automatically connected back to complete an online post-test
survey (approximately 15 minutes). All data will be aggregated and reported
as group data. You are assured complete confidentiality since you are asked
NOT to enter your name anywhere within the survey. Your participation is
voluntary and will in no way jeopardize your role as a healthcare provider.
Moreover, the benefit to your participation will be to learn more about
the use of psychiatric service dogs for psychiatrically-disabled patients
and assist to increase healthcare knowledge. Your informed consent will
be assumed by your decision to continue through the online testing.

violence (DV) before and after participation in an online DV educational
intervention.

to describe healthcare provider attitudes and knowledge regarding patients
with chronic low back pain (CLBP) before and after a CLBP teaching intervention. 

Your participation in this investigation will involve completing an

the online teaching program (approximately 20 minutes), after which you
will be automatically connected back to complete an online post-test survey
(approximately 20 minutes). All data will be aggregated and reported as
